Leonardo DiCaprio has used his fame to raise awareness about the environment for years, even dedicating a part of his Oscars speech to emphasize the importance of taking climate change seriously.

But luckily, Leo isn’t the only one using his high-profile platform for good. Many other celebs are working hard to bring attention to this vital issue that impacts all of our lives. Here are some of our fave celebs that you’ll love even more for being environmental activists.

Kristen Bell

If you’ve ever seen Kristen Bell profess her adoration for sloths, it actually shouldn’t come as that big of a surprise that she’s an animal lover and a lover of pretty much all of Earth’s wonders. Naturally, the Frozen actress does her part to help protect the planet. She has been a vegan and a vegetarian, has been a major proponent of water conservation, recycling, and living an all-around green lifestyle. We didn’t think it was possible, but Kristen just keeps getting cooler and cooler.

Mark Ruffalo

It seems like being an environmental activist is a major part of Mark Ruffalo’s identity. In fact, the Spotlight actor’s Twitter bio reads, “I’m a husband, father, actor, director, and a climate change advocate with an eye on a better, brighter, cleaner, more hopeful future for all of us.” So if you follow Mark, you’ll learn a lot about the dangers of pollution and other environmental issues. Mark founded Water Defense, a non-profit that is dedicated to making sure everyone has access to clean water. He is also on the board of directors of The Solutions Project, which works to transition the United States into using 100 percent clean, renewable energy, and is a member of the advisory board for Americans Against Fracking. With his busy acting career, we’re not sure how Mark finds the time to do all of that, but we’re sure glad he does.

 Olivia Wilde

Olivia Wilde proves that living a conscious lifestyle is as easy as deciding what to put in your closet. The Vinyl actress co-founded the conscious creative agency and incubator Conscious Commerce and is the spokesperson for H&M’s Conscious Exclusive collection. She has also spoken out about global warming and animal rights in the past. Here’s hoping she’s passing along these ideals to her soon-to-be two children.
