Chris Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, has been granted a restraining order against the singer after he allegedly beat her up and threatened to kill her.
In a sworn statement to a judge, Tran claimed Brown had “told a few people that he was going to kill me” following their 2015 breakup. According to TMZ, the 28-year-old also alleged that Brown was telling his friends that he threatened to shoot Tran because he didn’t want her to be with another man.
Tran added that Brown had been abusive during their relationship. She claimed the “Loyal” crooner “punched me in my stomach twice” and “pushed me down the stairs” several years ago when the 27-year-old was still on probation for assaulting Rihanna.
Earlier this year, Brown threatened to beat up Soulja Boy when he saw that the rapper had liked an Instagram photo of Tran. Previously, Brown also accused his former girlfriend of being a THOT (“that hoe over there”) and physically forced himself into her car when the two crossed paths at a Los Angeles nightclub.
Tran felt unsafe after Brown shared a video of him vowing to stalk his exes this month, in which he said, “Ladies, y’all be complaining about n***as being, like, stalkers and in love with y’all, kinda crazy and sh*t and you get tired of them. Well, guess what? I’m one of them n***as! If I love you, bitch, ain’t nobody gonna have you. I’m gonna make you miserable. I’m gonna chase that n***a out. I’m gonna chase your ass around.”
Tran’s domestic violence restraining order requires Brown to stay 100 yards away from her and her family members.
